Professional deer and squirrel management across Southern England

Deer management plans

A deer management plan sets out what you want the land to achieve, what the deer are doing to it now, and how the population will be managed to close that gap.

What goes into a plan

We start by walking the ground with you and agreeing your objectives, whether that is protecting new planting, reducing crop damage, improving a park herd or meeting grant conditions.

The plan then records the species present, estimated numbers, current impact, cull targets by age and sex, and how progress will be monitored and reviewed.

Working with neighbours

Deer move across boundaries, so the most effective plans take account of neighbouring land. Where it helps, we can coordinate with adjoining owners and managers.
